We're working with Fire Systems Ltd who are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join their team and support engineers to ensure all relevant materials are ready and safe to use.

This role is based in Kingston upon Thames, London where you will be working with the warehouse team, in charge of various tasks as well as day-to-day activities.

Salary: £9.50 per hour (this can be extended to £10.00 per hour for successful candidates holding a full clean Driving licence*)
Hours: minimum of 30 to 45 hours per week.                                                                      
Interview date: TBC

Key duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Ordering materials for jobs and stock
  • Assisting with any store/ stock duties. e.g. receive and process the deliveries
  • Sorting waste for recycling
  • Helping to keep the store neat and tidy
  • Preparing materials for jobs, projects and for the drivers to collect
  • Booking jobs for drivers
  • Keeping record of incoming and outgoing site keys by logging into designated excel sheet
  • Logging outgoing materials
  • Helping drivers to load and unload materials as well as dispose of waste materials
  • Loading and unloading old and new fire extinguishers from the crate
*If you hold a valid driving license you maybe required for collecting, delivering materials from site to site as well as assisting with call outs.

Additional skills

The following skills are not essential but are desirable:
  • Basic IT knowledge including Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
  • An ability to multitask
  • An ability to work both independently as well as in a team
