Trainee Double Glazing Repair Engineer Opportunity

Are you long term unemployed and not in education or training? Are you looking to learn a new trade and start a career in double glazing? Optivo and Cosyseal have partnered up to bring you this fantastic trainee opportunity!
The ideal candidate will have a good communication and presentation skills, be hardworking and have a willingness to learn about the trade. You’ll gain the skills on how to carry out repairs and installations to double glazed window and doors to a high standard. You’ll be working alongside an in-house team of Installers, Engineers and Surveyors and will be able to undertake an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Fenestration.
Successful candidates will undergo a half day practical workshop at Cosyseal’s training facility where a Cosyseal engineer will lead them through window repairs and installation.
Main duties includes:
Processing deliveries.
Preparing residents windows/doors ready for the engineers.
Maintain and upkeep the cleanliness of the environment.
Manual handling of glass and frames.
Assist engineers with diagnosing repairs promptly and accurately
Attend residents’ properties to carry out repairs, some of which may be replacing blown units, replacing catches, handles or locks, re-alignment or replacement of whole window or door units.

Full time, 1 year fix term with the opportunity to permanent employment.
