The shortlist to the National Housing Awards was announced on Tuesday (17 July).

Felicity Gentle, Sales and Marketing Director at Optivo, said: “We’re so proud our Riverlight development has been shortlisted for such a prestigious award.

These homes have provided access to the housing market for young professionals in a part of London which is seeing vast improvements to infrastructure.

This scheme also benefits from a beautiful landscaped environment, including newly created river walks to allow views over the Thames.”

Designed by architects Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, Riverlight is the first of the Nine Elms developments to reach completion. It occupies a five acre former industrial site next to Battersea Power Station.

The National Housing Awards will return for a 12th year to celebrate excellence in home ownership, with the final due to take place in London on Thursday 6 September.
