Housing associations have 'positive impact' in Lambeth: new report

03 December 2021

The G15  – a group of London’s largest housing associations, of which Optivo is a member – have launched a new report highlighting the positive impact housing associations including Optivo are having in communities across London.

Using Lambeth as a case study, the report shows how G15 members are playing a vitally important role in improving people’s life circumstances and transforming communities. Housing associations are helping people into accredited training and employment and tackling fuel poverty and financial and digital exclusion.
The report shines a light on two particular projects with which Optivo’s been heavily involved:
  • Financial Shield – a pioneering project to improve financial, mental and physical wellbeing involving Hyde, Metropolitan Thames Valley, Optivo and Southern
  • Love London Working  – a pan-London employment programme led by Clarion in partnership with six other G15 members.
It also highlights the impressive work of our Fresh Visions and Youth Team at Church Manor and Lansdowne Green.
Along with the other members of the G15, we’ll be using the report to highlight the potential for more collaborative working between housing associations, local authorities and other stakeholders to make a lasting difference in communities across London.
