Helping over 2,500 new residents into their new home!
Helping over 2,500 new residents into their new home!
21 September 2017
Over 2,500 students will be moving into their new Optivo home over the next month as they prepare to start life at University.
Our staff have been welcoming the new intake to
our student accommodation
which is spread across Brighton University, Middlesex University, SOAS University and Southampton Solent University. Added to this mix, they work with a number of other University providers for direct let access.
They’ve been handing over the keys and helping students to settle into their new surroundings.
While many students were understandably nervy about beginning a new chapter in their lives, we wanted to ensure there were no concerns about moving into their new home.
Our team have been working hard to make the moving in process as smooth as possible. This covers the practical side, from arranging things like contents insurance, to providing ‘tea and coffee welcome bags’ for each kitchen.
Our student accommodation
We offer fully furnished single and twin rooms with either ensuite or shared bathroom facilities.
Our residents have access to shared kitchen and dining facilities, and common rooms to relax.
All bills are included; our residents don’t need to worry about hefty deposits, council tax, heating, water, or electricity bills – even wireless internet is included in the price.
We work in partnership with several higher education and various NHS Hospital trusts to provide affordable accommodation for their students – and student doctors – across the UK.
In total, over 2,500 students will be moving into our student accommodation between now and October.

What can students expect?
Ellie lives at our accommodation in Wood Green. She said:
"It's a really good place to live, the community is amazing. It's really easy to get around London because we're so close to the tube. I really enjoy it here."
Patrick lives at our accommodation at Middlesex University and offered an insight into what the new intake can expect.
He said:
“It gave me a home in all sense of the word. It’s everything I expected and more. Optivo really provided everything we need - I’ve got a great rapport with the staff that work here.”
Speaking at the same site, student Daniel added:
“The rooms are great, they’re a good size. It’s all ensuite as well which is very helpful.”
