Could you be a Optivo Wellbeing Champion?

The health and wellbeing of our residents is important to us here Optivo. We’re looking for Wellbeing Champions to volunteer to be ambassadors between our teams and our residents.
By engaging with more residents we can let them know about the opportunities we offer.
You know your neighbourhoods and communities best. Help us to promote our services and enhance the lives of residents, our communities and you, yourself as a volunteer.
What are the benefits of being a Wellbeing Champion?
Achieve an accredited qualification and further training
Travel / lunch expenses if volunteering more than 4 hours a day
Gain experience, references, feel good and make a difference.
What will I be doing as a Wellbeing Champion?
Promote Social Impact activities including:
Volunteering
Health & Wellbeing
Employment Support, Increase VS and Fresh Visions
Share with residents the benefits of a healthy lifestyle
Signposting to other local support services
Attending Resident Involvement events, community engagement events and projects
Supporting residents to attend courses and activities
Regularly meet and feedback to your Volunteer Co-ordinator.
As the role becomes more established, there may be more ways to be involved.
About you
As a Wellbeing Champion, you’ll need to be:
An Optivo resident, live within our communities or Social Impact beneficiary
A good communicator
Interested in the wellbeing of residents.
