Your health and safety is our number one priority and we’re continuing to closely monitor the situation around coronavirus.

Although we’re not here to provide specific advice about the virus, we want you to know we’re taking the situation extremely seriously.

We’re following government guidance to limit the spread of coronavirus and so some of our staff will be working remotely, away from our offices.

Repairs service update:

We're continuing to follow Government advice on the Coronavirus. This means we're making changes to our repairs services to help keep residents and staff safe.

We’ve had to make some difficult decisions. We’re now taking emergency repairs only at this time. And if you’re due a non-emergency repair, we won’t be conducting this at the moment. Read more here.

If you’ve been told to self-isolate and we’re due to visit your home it is critical you let us know beforehand. This is vital for the safety of our residents, staff and others.

Government advice

The government are providing lots of useful information regarding the coronavirus. This changes frequently. We advise you to keep a close eye on the government websites for up-to-date information.

The guidance they give addresses questions such as:
  • What can I do to reduce my risk of catching coronavirus?
  • What is self-isolation and why is it important?
  • Who are most vulnerable to the virus?

Here are some useful links for government websites:

Guidance when staying at home

We recognise more people than usual will be in their homes as they follow the government's coronavirus guidance. This change may have an impact on your neighbours.
During this challenging time we’re asking our residents to:
  • Manage the noise from their home and be considerate of neighbours.
  • Be tolerant of others
  • Follow the government’s coronavirus advice.
At such a challenging time it’s more important than ever that we’re looking after ourselves. Here are a few tips to manage your time at home.

Social distancing

We’re encouraging all our residents to follow government guidance on social distancing. Reducing social interaction between people will massively help to reduce the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and will help to relieve pressure on services such as the NHS.
We’re unable to take action to enforce those that don't adhere to the government’s advice, however please be aware the police do have powers to act where necessary.
We’re actively still dealing with reported incidents of anti social behaviour (ASB).  Our teams are busier than normal as we look to help residents during this time, so we appreciate your patience when dealing with these matters.  Where the breach of social distancing is also an ASB incident, we will deal with it. For example, if a neighbour deliberately comes up close to you and threatens you.

You can find out more about our approach to anti social behaviour, and how to report it, on our website here.
