Swapping your car (or travel card) for bike or foot is an easy way to save money on every journey you make, from commuting to work, to popping to your local shops.

Walking and cycling are low impact forms of exercise which can be enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities. The health benefits are extensive.

These include: keeping your heart healthy, helping to aid weight loss and boosting your wellbeing.

If more people walked or cycled, we would have clearer roads and cleaner air in our local communities.

Exploring local and national walking trails is a fun weekend activity and a great way of discovering new places.

Not sure how to make your current journeys via bike? Try a journey planner or Sustrans, this also provides alternative cycle routes depending on whether you want the fastest or quietest route possible.
