Domestic abuse

At Optivo we believe everyone has the right to live free from domestic abuse.

We take all reports of domestic abuse seriously. We’ll work alongside specialist services to support those affected and enable them to live a life free of abuse and violence.

Hate incidents and crime

Hate incidents and hate crimes are when someone makes threats to you, or is abusive or violent towards you because you’re perceived to be a part of a certain group.

Examples of such groups can include but are not limited to: gender, ethnicity, disability, language, nationality, religion, gender identity or sexual orientation.

We want our residents and their families to live a life where they’re free from all forms of abuse. We’re committed to safeguarding the wellbeing of adult residents and children living in our homes.

Anyone raising a concern that a child or adult is being abused or neglected will be taken seriously and we will act promptly and appropriately.
