Our projects

Children of domestic violence

We know that many childrens' lives have been damaged by domestic violence.  We aim to alleviate the long-term affects of domestic violence on children through counselling and family support services.

Many children have been undermined by the stress of living with fear.  Through counselling we try to help them improve their confidence, self-esteem and realise their potential.

Your support can make a difference.

Social Enterprise - Neighbourhood Furniture Store

We have a neighbourhood furniture store funded by Fresh Visions in Sittingbourne, Kent.  the store has provided job and volunteer opportunities to over 80 young people, including ex offenders and young people excluded from school.

The Store is also a communty resource, providing low cost quality furniture for people on low incomes.  It gives young people the chance to furnish their houses and flats, creating a real sense of home, whilst reducing the need for people to take out credit agreements or loans.

Next step to a career

We run programmes that help young people who are out of work and out of school or college get their lives back on track.  Many of these young people suffer from low aspirations and are involved in gang culture.

These courses offer support and an opportunity to fulfil their potential.

Your support can make a difference.

Build Yourself project

Our brilliant Build Yourself project teaches DIY skills to those aged between 18 to 24.

It's a great chance to build their confidence and develop team skills. Participants are given guidance by a professional painter and decorator.

And there's even help and support to gain a CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card for those interested in working as a labourer.
