Local area:

Living on Deedmore Road means having everything you need on hand: from a medical centre, dental practice and pharmacy to local shops and supermarkets, good primary schools and the green open spaces of Moat House Park and Woodway Walk.

You’ll also find a superb Leisure and Neighbourhood Centre at Moat Park where you can work out in a 40-station, air-conditioned gym, join group exercise or yoga classes, work out with weights or join a community walk. There’s even a café when you need to take a break.

Coventry city centre, approximately four miles south of Deedmore Road, is home to West Orchards and Cathedral Lanes shopping centres and a traditional indoor market but if you want to shop outside the city centre, there’s Arena Shopping Park at Rowleys Green, about 3.5 miles away.

Next to the shopping Park is the Ricoh Arena, home to Coventry City Football Club, one of the 2012 Olympic venues, which hosts major music events. Coventry is also home to cinemas, theatres, a museum and art galleries, an ice rink, nightclubs and small music venues as well as a host of cafes, bars, pubs and restaurants.

There are secondary schools and primary schools within easy walking distance, and local shops nearby.

Transport:

From Deedmore Road, it’s only a short drive to the M6 and M69 motorways and Coventry railway station, just over four miles away, provides rail services to London Euston with journey times from 69 minutes – or you could be in Birmingham in under half an hour.

A number of bus routes serve Deedmore Road – and it takes around half an hour to reach the city centre – so it’s easy to leave the car at home.
