We’re working with a number of different water companies to try and help you reduce the amount of water you’re using.

This service is completely free and is a great way to save some money and do your bit for the environment!

If our partner water companies are planning to visit your area, they will contact you by post to inform you of the dates and times that they will be knocking on doors near you.

Our water advisors will then be able to fit FREE water saving devices (where possible) and give you tips about how to save water and energy that can potentially save you money on your bills.

Who are we working with?

We are currently working with the following partners:

Please ask to see ID before allowing anyone into your property.

How does the visit work?

  • An advisor with ID will visit your home. Visits last roughly 30 minutes

  • They’ll talk about your water use and fit the latest water-saving devices to your taps, toilets and showers

  • They’ll check for leaks from taps or toilets and fix them for free where possible  (subject to survey)

  • Using the information you provide about your household water use, they’ll advise on whether a water meter would save you money if you don’t already have one

  • They’ll advise you on the  ways you can reduce your water and energy bills further.

What if I’m not in?

If you’re not available on the day of the visit then there’s no need to worry, as there is more support available.

  • You can contact our partner water company to arrange a water visit for a date and time convenient to you. Please contact our partners direct to arrange this (the details you need will be in the letter they send you).

  • Our energy efficiency team can visit your home to offer advice on how you can maximise the energy efficiency in your home. Complete our online form here.
