Problems with your heating?

Image: thermostatOur heating contractors are likely to experience higher call volumes if the weather is bad.

If you have a problem with your heating, there are a few things you can do to try and get it working without the need for an engineer. We advise trying these steps before calling. Click here to read more.

Gritting and snow clearance

With the weather turning colder, we’ve introduced our new Gritting Policy.

This outlines the support Optivo can offer during icy weather. Where possible, our Estate Services Teams will clear snow and provide grit at our Retirement Schemes, Extra Care Schemes and care homes.

We’ll aim to clear paths and emergency exits. However, we may not be able to access all sites, so if in doubt, don’t go out.

Optivo can also provide grit bins for residents to use, where suitable. If you’d like a grit bin in your neighbourhood, please contact us and we’ll consider your request. You can read our Gritting Policy in full here.
