The ‘topping out’ ceremony took place at the top of the 14 storey development in Cairo New Road on Tuesday (26 March).

The modern development, which is due to complete next year, will include 113 new homes featuring high quality one, two and three bedroom apartments. These will be a variety of affordable homes for local people.

The scheme is being delivered by contractor Skillcrown on behalf of us, while Chartered surveyor Martin Arnold is acting as the employer’s agent for us on this project.

A ceremony was held at the full height of the development, around 50 metres from ground, and Bunmi Atta, Director of Construction at Optivo, placed a commemorative brick to mark the milestone.
