Here to help: Sheltered and extra care

As well as 24/7 emergency call systems, we've a dedicated team of friendly and welcoming staff who are there to help you whenever you need us. They'll get to know you and your family, and they'll take the time to find out about your needs. They'll call you daily or weekly if you want to check in with someone.

They can also help you with:
  • reporting repairs
  • dealing with phone calls and letters
  • money and benefits advice
  • signposting you to your local community and health services.
If it's independence you're after, that's absolutely fine too. You have peace of mind that we're there if you ever need support.

And you'll be surrounded by a fantastic community of like-minded people, giving you the chance to meet new friends and enjoy a great programme of social events.

How much will I pay?

We offer affordable rent and assured tenancies in all our Independent Living homes. Rent and service charges vary from scheme to scheme. We'll be able to talk you through costs during the application process.

** Coronavirus update **

Last updated: 10 December 2021

The pandemic remains a major concern for many residents and staff in our Independent Living schemes.

Our staff are at their schemes as much as possible, but there will be times they need to work from home.  At all times they’ll be following Government guidelines and our own safe operating procedures.

Any visitors to our schemes should call through to the resident’s flat using the intercom system and not wait in communal areas.

We’re reminding residents, staff and all visitors:

  • ‚Äčnot to linger in communal areas
  • to wear a face-covering in communal areas
  • keep social distancing where they can
  • ensure no more than one person or household uses a lift or the laundry
  • gatherings in the lounge or other spaces must be booked with the scheme manager and follow precautions

Residents who’ve tested positive and/or are self-isolating must not use communal areas such as laundries and siting rooms. If this is the case, it's important you minimise any contact with other residents and staff.

We thank everyone for their cooperation and understanding.
